Your Impact in This Role

As a Loader Operator, your responsibilities include:

• Successfully complete training on SMI safety standards and driving skills.
• Operate loader safely and efficiently.
• Inspect loader before shifts and report issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on loader.
• Refuel loader safely.
• Load trucks and hoppers with materials.
• Track load counts and process materials.
• Move materials to designated areas.
• Report incidents, hazards, and cross-contamination issues.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including operating heavy machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks after training.

What You Bring to the Table

To succeed, you should demonstrate:

• Adaptability, communication, dependability, teamwork, attention to quality and quantity.
• Knowledge of glass processing (preferred).
• Ability to follow oral instructions.

Physical Abilities Required

• Bending, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, lifting, reaching, grasping, repetitive movements.
