Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dock worker in Elizabethton, TN to support staging, loading, and material handling for steel fabrication products. The role emphasizes safe loading practices and attention to detail to ensure accurate shipments.

The position requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting and forklift operation experience. Occasional Saturdays may be required; competitive starting pay is provided along with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Comfort with power hand tools.
• Willingness to train, certify and operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate staging, loading, and material handling for steel fabrication product mix.
• Scan all products loaded into trucks (100%).
• Report safety or quality concerns to Supervisor or Plant Manager.
• Unload and load trucks and trailers.
