Job summary

CRH in North Carolina is looking for a diligent forklift operator to support production and logistics operations. The role involves moving materials, stocking the line, labeling and packaging products, and ensuring safe shipment preparation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification preferred, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and follow safety rules in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret loading slips, safety rules, operating instructions.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory/onto and off truck
• Operated loaders to keep production line stocked with raw materials
• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods
• Properly label product and package product for inventory
• Ensure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standards
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery
• Before loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipment
• Complete daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment
• Other duties as assigned
