Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a second-shift associate in Morrisville, PA to load/unload gas cylinders, operate a forklift, and prepare shipments. The role involves sorting cylinders, verifying quantities, and assisting with inventory.

You will review orders and load items for delivery, with duties including painting, labeling, and cleaning of cylinders as needed. The ideal candidate has a High School degree and 1+ year manufacturing experience, plus forklift proficiency and strong teamwork,

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and trailers.
• Rolls cylinders and operates a forklift for movement.
• Sorts empty cylinders by type.
• Checks cylinder quantities, styles and product; assists with inventory.
• Reviews customer orders and loads items for delivery.
• Performs basic cylinder maintenance (painting, labeling, cleaning).

What you will enjoy doing*

• Loads and unloads gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks and trailers
• You will roll cylinders and operate a forklift truck for the movement of cylinders
• You will sort empty cylinders by type
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and/or assist with inventory
• You will review customer orders, pull items from full inventory, and loads items onto trucks for delivery
• You will perform basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area
• Assists with accompanying paperwork for shipments
• You will complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments

What makes you great

• You have a High School Degree / GED is required
• You have more than one (1+) year/s manufacturing or plant experience preferred
• You have experience operating a forklift
• Qualified candidate must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
