Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Cylinder Processor – Lead to oversee cylinder processing and related warehouse tasks on 1st shift. You will test, fill, and transfer cylinders, while ensuring accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities include leading small teams, maintaining equipment, and completing documentation for quality and compliance. Prior manufacturing experience and leadership skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in a plant/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical background is desired.
• Leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders according to plant guidelines and procedures.
• Perform visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and decide on retesting or repairs.
• Check cylinder quantities and styles and fill as needed.
• Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and document shipments with quantities, styles and products.
• Complete quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures.
• Operate forklift and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
• Performs visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are required
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and fill any necessary product
• You will load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck
• Operates and maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
• Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled to justify the stock inventory
• You will complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
• Operates a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
