Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Fishkill, NY seeks a leading technical professional to provide leadership for load/store verification of next‑gen processors. You will maintain and improve functional verification methodology, enhance infrastructure, and coordinate with RTL/Design teams to meet program goals.

The ideal candidate has strong CPU architecture knowledge and extensive Verilog/SystemVerilog experience, with proficiency in C/C++, Perl, and assembly.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS or EE with significant industry experience desirable.
• Strong foundation in CPU architecture and load/store verification.
• Experience leading verification projects for microprocessor designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional verification of high-speed processor designs across SoC, cores and blocks.
• Develop environments, infrastructure and test plans for chip and block level verification.
• Build automated regression infrastructure and directed tests including x86 assembly tests.
• Identify and resolve simulation discrepancies and coverage holes; analyze results.
• Support next-gen LSDC rewrite and collaborate with RTL/Design teams.
