Job summary

AMD is seeking an adaptive, self-motivated design verification engineer to join our growing team in Fishkill, NY. You will contribute to high-quality, industry-leading verification technologies and work across sites/time zones to advance AMD's processor architectures.

You will develop and maintain tests, build testbench components, and support IP verification with emphasis on functional and performance metrics, hardware emulation, and debugging capabilities, while collaborating with multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
• Experience with processor design and verification.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries like UVM.
• Experience/Background in Computing/Graphics is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level.
• Build testbench components to support the next generation IP.
• Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
• Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance.
• Maintain and improve current hardware emulation environment to speed up runtime performance and debug facilities.
• Provide technical support to other teams.
