Job summary

Kight Home Center, a division of Carter Lumber, is hiring for a yard associate to help contractors and DIY customers with orders, loading, and material staging. You will also maintain yard organization and assist with inventory counts, using a forklift with provided training.

This role involves outdoor work in all conditions and teamwork to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Growth opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Familiarity with building materials helpful.
• Ability to be a team player and work outdoors in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIY customers with order selection and loading.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain yard inventory and organize work area, including cycles counts.
• Operate forklift; training and certification provided if needed.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
