Job summary

Kight Home Center is seeking a Yard Associate to assist customers and contractors with material selection and loading, and to stage items for pickup or delivery. You will help maintain yard inventory and keep the area organized, with forklift training provided if needed.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, enjoy teamwork, and are comfortable working outdoors. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within the company and a friendly, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Friendly personality and effective communication are important.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful to assist customers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selecting and loading orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Help maintain yard inventory with cycle counts.
• Keep yard organized and clean; operate a forklift if trained.
• Learn forklift operation and certification with company training.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
