Job summary

Kight Home Center, a division of Carter Lumber, is hiring a yard associate to help contractors and do-it-yourselfers with loading, selecting, and staging orders. You will help maintain yard inventory, pull materials for pickup or delivery, and keep the area clean. Forklift operation is involved, and training is provided to obtain certification.

The role requires a friendly, team-oriented person who can work outside in all conditions and contribute to a customer-focused, hands-on team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery
• Maintain yard inventory with cycle counts
• Keep the yard organized and clean; operate forklift (training provided)

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
