Job summary

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in Phoenix is hiring for a manufacturing role with a compressed 3–4 day workweek. You will handle wafers, use transfer tools, and maintain cleanroom and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, dependable attendance, basic Excel skills, and a willingness to learn the full manufacturing process over several months. Shift options include day and night schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dependable attendance and stable work history preferred.
• Able to use computers and learn new systems.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills and general computer literacy expected.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple processes.
• Able to follow SOPs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn entire manufacturing process over 6–9 months.

Responsibilities

• Transfer reclaim wafers into FOSBs and move to warehouse for packing/shipment.
• Unbox and unpack wafers for STB Auto.
• Operate manual transfer tools to place wafers into FOSBs/FOUPs.
• Replenish packing machines, exchange recycle bins, refill desiccants.
• Pack/unpack FOUPs for transfers, including single/double bagging.
• Prepare load ports for cleaning and wipe down procedures.
• Move around fabrication facility following safety and SOPs.
• Follow cleanroom and quality procedures during shift.

What you'll be doing

• Transferring reclaim wafers into FOSBs and transporting them to the warehouse for final packing and shipment

• Moving throughout the fabrication facility during your shift
• Following detailed safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures

What to expect

• Being on your feet and moving throughout the facility during your shift
• Lifting up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Wearing required cleanroom PPE, including garments, goggles, masks, and shoes
• Following detailed SOPs and safety procedures
• Working in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment
