Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking an experienced Load Planner for the Linden, NJ facility to support our Dispatch and Equipment Control operations. The role involves entering customer orders, coordinating daily schedules, and maintaining clear communications with customers and dispatch.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, experience in trucking/intermodal, proficiency with Google Suite, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch promptly.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs.
• Print orders and coordinate daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control.
• Maintain direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Perform other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned.
