Job summary

Depot Connect International DCI in Linden, NJ is seeking an experienced Load Planner to support Dispatch and Equipment Control operations. You will enter customer orders, report and advise dispatch, and coordinate the daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, experience in trucking and intermodal transportation, and proficiency with Google Suite. Strong written and verbal communication, plus the ability to multitask and stay organized,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Entering customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner.
• Informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise.
• Printing order and coordinating the daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control.
• Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned.

Primary responsibilities of a Load Planner include but are not limited to
