Job summary

Depot Connect International is seeking a Load Planner to support front office operations with billing, dispatch, and equipment control. The role requires entering orders and customer data, and maintaining communications with customers.

The ideal candidate has experience in trucking/intermodal logistics, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry preferred.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.) preferred.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written required.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Entering customer orders and customer information (such as billing) into the computer system
• Reporting customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner
• Informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise
• Printing export and import lists for dispatch and equipment control
• Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned
