Job summary

ERCOT in Taylor, TX seeks an experienced load forecasting analyst to provide analysis and technical support for operational and planning load forecasting, ensuring reliable power grid operations in compliance with NERC standards.

Responsibilities include developing forecasting models, monitoring performance, data quality, and reporting findings; candidate will join a team leveraging Python, R, SQL, SAS, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to improve forecast quality and situational awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and technical support for load forecasting processes.
• Develop and monitor forecasting models and performance metrics.
• Support data quality checks, model validation, and reporting.
