Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders.

The Load Builder role supports our mission of Legendary Service through teamwork by safely building loads for our drivers, receiving and stocking inventory, and assisting customer service to fill walk-in orders in the Oregon yard.

Qualifications

• OSHA Certified Forklift License is required.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control principles, practices and protocols.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber, panel products, and other building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• Ability to concentrate and attend to detail in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe and efficient loads by reading pick tickets and invoices.
• Reads SKUs and identifies material types to build loads accurately.
• Load and off-load trucks with materials using forklift or by hand.
• Completes inventory adjustments and puts stock away.
• Tags loads and ensures paperwork accuracy per policy.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and operate safely in outdoor conditions.
• Proactively learns product knowledge for end users and helps fill orders as needed.
