You will follow work orders, operate forklifts and hand trucks, and maintain safety standards to protect yourself and teammates while contributing to on-time customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED + 3 months related experience; forklift certification required.
• Loads and unloads materials and prepares loads for delivery.
• Follows work orders and uses equipment to move materials safely.
• Must lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and secures loads.
• Performs load-building to ensure balanced and safe hauling.
• Reads work orders to determine materials to move.
• Operates equipment to move materials within yard or to storage areas.
• Adheres to safety procedures and attends safety meetings.
