Job summary

Reliance Matrix is seeking a detail-oriented LOA Claims Specialist to maintain accurate Leave of Absence management systems, troubleshoot issues, train staff, and QA new functionality. You will work with LeaveLink, escalate to Absentys when needed, and support audits and reporting.

The role emphasizes logic, analytical troubleshooting, and strong customer service, with flexible work location and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3–5 years LOA claims experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Integrated Claims Examiner-LOA.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state leave laws.
• Aptitude for logic and systems programming.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent math and reading comprehension; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems/issues in LeaveLink.
• Escalate issues to vendor (Absentys) as appropriate.
• Program client letters and policy changes in LeaveLink.
• QA all aspects of programming in UAT during implementation and production.
• Assist in testing new functionality in LeaveLink.
• Develop processes for enhancements and new modules.
• Develop training for enhancements and annual LOA road show training.
• May perform audits and prepare statistical/productivity reports.
• Support implementation teams for premium billing data feeds.
