Job summary

Petroplan seeks a Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead the LNG regulatory program, ensuring compliance with PHMSA, FERC, USCG, and 49 CFR Part 193, 33 CFR Part 127, NFPA 59A, and ASME B31.3. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to sustain a safe, reliable facility and to support agency audits and inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory management, or a closely related industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LNG.
• Strong knowledge of LNG facility regulations and applicable industry standards.
• Extensive experience managing regulatory interactions with U.S. agencies (FERC, PHMSA).
• TWIC in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Regulatory Compliance Program and related policies.
• Serve as SME for LNG regulatory compliance with focus on PHMSA, FERC, and U.S. Coast Guard.
• Lead compliance assurance activities and support audits and inspections.
• Conduct internal assessments, inspections, and audits with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Review audit findings and update procedures, manuals, and control processes.
• Identify compliance risks and communicate with leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary process changes.
• Lead development of internal regulatory inspection and audit programs.
• Oversee safety-related incident management and MOC reviews for compliance.
• Ensure timely external regulatory reporting obligations.
