Job summary

CTS Complete Technical Services seeks a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support the Commonwealth LNG Project from the Houston Home Office. The role ensures engineering activities align with federal, state, and local regulations, permit conditions, and project specifications across EPC phases.

The engineer interfaces with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Quality, Environmental, and Operations to embed regulatory requirements into deliverables and manage commitments with agencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of LNG, natural gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or energy infrastructure project experience.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory compliance program execution during EPC project development.
• Review deliverables for codes, standards, permit requirements and regulatory commitments.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to incorporate regulatory requirements into documents.
• Develop implementation packages to demonstrate compliance with FERC order conditions.
• Assist with submittals to regulatory agencies (FERC, PHMSA, USCG).
• Participate in MOC activities and evaluate design changes for regulatory impact.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews; maintain regulatory documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on project execution.
• Provide technical support for regulator inquiries and information requests.
