Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston seeks a Senior Manager, Regulatory Technical Authority to act as the subject matter expert for LNG facility regulatory compliance. You will guide regulatory reviews for FERC, PHMSA, USCG, and related codes, collaborating with engineering, operations, and management teams.

The role requires leading regulatory change management, training, and audits while ensuring safe, compliant LNG operations from our Downtown Houston office. Monday–Friday in-office position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years combined experience in design, commissioning, operations, or regulatory compliance.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineer drawings including P&IDs, PFDs, C&Es, One Line Diagrams, Isometrics, and Civil/Structural drawings.
• Must be proficient in LNG Facility Regulations including 49 CFR 193, 33 CFR 127, NFPA 59A, and ASME B31.3.
• Broad knowledge of Codes, Standards, and Industry Best Practices.
• TWIC card in good standing status.

Responsibilities

• Act as the regulatory compliance SME for LNG facility management of change programs.
• Lead 3D model reviews, HAZOPS, RCAs, and LOPAs for regulatory compliance.
• Support engineering design, scope refinement, cost estimating, and construction.
• Review routine regulatory reports for accuracy with stakeholders.
• Develop capital project requests for compliance improvements.
• Manage regulation changes and facility modifications.
