Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Cameron, LA, seeks a Process DCS Operator to monitor and control the LNG facility from the control room, ensuring safe, reliable operation and regulatory compliance.

Eight years of oil & gas experience, DCS/SIS qualification, and an associate degree are required; strong leadership, safety focus, and excellent communication are essential. Collaboration across Operations and Maintenance, plus mentoring responsibilities, are included.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience, including four (4) years as a DCS Operator, commissioning, startup & operations in oil & gas, petrochemical.
• Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience; High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the DCS control console to monitor and regulate process variables and control flows.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations; report safety/environmental concerns.
• Coordinate start-ups/shutdowns with field operators and maintain per procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentor trainees to ensure operational excellence.
