Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join the Cameron, LA project team. The role focuses on LNG process engineering from concept to startup, supporting commissioning and performance testing, with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our project team in Cameron, LA.

This position is based out of our Calcasieu Pass LNG 2 (CP2) facility located in Cameron, Louisiana.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• A minimum of five to ten (5-10) years’ experience working in an engineering capacity in an industrial setting in engineering or operations
• Oil and Gas experience is required, with preference in LNG applications, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in key aspects of process engineering from conceptual design, economics, detailed engineering, plant startup, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Commissioning, start-up, and performance testing at project sites is a plus.
• Strong understanding of key equipment involved in LNG liquefaction facilities.
• Additional Skills:
  • Possess effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, and discipline specific software applications: HYSYS, Aspen Plus, etc.
  • Skilled in the application of relevant major design codes and standards.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

Licensing & Certifications

• Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status
• Professional Engineer’s (PE) License or equivalent CEng license is preferred.
