Job summary

BHE GT&S operates the Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, MD, seeking an Engineer II/Sr Engineer/Sr Engineer II (Mechanical) to support day-to-day operations and long-term reliability at the site.

You will work on plant equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping and rotating equipment, focusing on condition monitoring and asset strategies while collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering is required, from an accredited college or university.
• PE license is preferred for Sr Engineer roles.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and long-term reliability of critical plant equipment.
• Provide technical oversight for pipeline, compression projects and related construction.
• Develop and implement condition monitoring programs and asset strategies.
• Lead design, procurement, and construction activities for projects.
• Mentor other engineers and promote reliability-centered culture.
