Job summary

BHE GT&S is seeking an Engineer II/Sr Engineer to support reliability, design, and operation at the Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, MD. The role focuses on improving equipment condition monitoring, planning projects, and mentoring teams to advance reliability culture across the site.

The incumbent will lead cross-functional efforts, oversee design and construction activities, and drive continuous improvement in mechanical systems and safety programs. A PE license is preferred for senior levels.

Qualifications

• Requires developmental experience in a professional engineering position.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and design principles.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and use applicable software.
• Excellent written and oral communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, procurement and construction of pipeline and compression projects.
• Provide technical oversight across all project phases.
• Develop and implement asset strategies to improve reliability and availability.
• Support day-to-day operation and long-term performance of plant equipment.
