Job summary

Cheniere Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer, Mechanical Reliability to serve as the technical steward for fixed equipment, piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and mechanical systems.

You will support maintenance and drive reliability improvements across the LNG facility, guiding less experienced staff in engineering design and operations. You will apply codes and standards (ASME, API) and use Caesar II, COMPASS, and PV Elite for analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master’s in Mechanical Engineering desirable.
• Professional Engineer license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical specialist for Static Equipment and Mechanical Systems.
• Provide daily support to plant to maintain safe, reliable operation.
• Develop and update design basis, cost estimates, and budgets for capital projects.
