Job summary

BHE GT&S is seeking a Technical Specialist 1/2/Senior at the Cove Point facility in Lusby, MD. The role involves overseeing power block water chemistry, tracking system parameters, and supporting RO and ZLD processes. Opportunities for growth across Specialist levels and collaboration with operations are highlighted.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. A Bachelor degree in engineering and strong communication skills are preferred for progression through the TS levels.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years for TS1 with basic engineering knowledge and communication skills.
• 3+ years for TS2 with proficient engineering skills and ability to work independently.
• 5+ years for Sr Tech Specialist with strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Power Block water chemistry program and guidelines.
• Track and trend Power Block water/steam parameters.
• Assist Water Treatment Operations in RO and ZLD optimization.
• Perform daily walkdowns of Power Block sampling panels.
• Order bulk chemicals and manage inventory for Power Block and Water Treatment.
• Coordinate with SGS laboratory for sampling and analysis of hydrocarbon samples.
• Provide technical solutions and participate in groups to optimize systems.
• Relocation assistance available dependent on eligibility.
