Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Supervisor, LNG Maintenance, to oversee maintenance technicians and support the LNG Plant Manager in daily operations. The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance across cooling, cryogenic processing, and related systems at Piedmont facilities.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance work, developing procedures and preventative programs, keeping accurate records, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with 49 CFR 193 and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years of LNG plant operations or maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety policies.
• Excellent leadership aligned with company values.
• Strong mechanical aptitude across plant components.

Responsibilities

• Complete time entry of direct reports and assign daily work schedules.
• Maintain maintenance records and procedures using CMMS and internal systems.
• Verify daily equipment operating sheets for errors before filing.
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance records on all equipment.
• Assist in maintaining plant security and security systems.
• Provide supervision, directions and technical guidance to staff.
• Support professional development of direct reports.
• Assist Plant Manager in financial planning and operation of the facility.
