Qualifications

• Active NH LNA license or PCA qualification preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience in a private home, assisted living, healthcare facility, or similar setting.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Clear communication skills and professional interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Patient, respectful attitude and genuine interest in helping others.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow care instructions.
• Dementia care training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines and maintain client comfort and independence.
• Support personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
• Assist with walking, repositioning, and transfers following safe care practices.
• Observe changes in client condition and report concerns to supervisor or care coordinator.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding while respecting dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to keep client homes clean and comfortable.
• Run errands and assist with routine activities per care plan.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to support client well-being.

What You'll Do

As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients with daily routines and provide the assistance they need to maintain their comfort and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
• Support clients with walking, repositioning, and transfers while following safe care practices.
• Observe clients for changes in their condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care coordinator.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed, while respecting individual dietary requirements.
• Help keep clients' homes clean, organized, and comfortable through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and other routine activities as appropriate to the client’s care plan.
• Offer friendly conversation, companionship, and reassurance to help clients feel supported.
• Follow established care plans and workplace policies to ensure consistent, respectful care.
