Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
• Support walking, repositioning, and transfers following safe practices.
• Observe changes in condition and inform supervisor or care coordinator.
• Prepare meals and assist feeding while respecting dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry to keep homes comfortable.
• Assist with errands and routine activities per care plan.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to clients.
• Follow care plans and workplace policies for consistent care.

What You’ll Do

As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients with daily routines and provide the assistance they need to maintain their comfort and independence. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
• Support clients with walking, repositioning, and transfers while following safe care practices.
• Observe clients for changes in their condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care coordinator.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed, while respecting individual dietary requirements.
• Help keep clients’ homes clean, organized, and comfortable through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and other routine activities as appropriate to the client’s care plan.
• Offer friendly conversation, companionship, and reassurance to help clients feel supported.
• Follow established care plans and workplace policies to ensure consistent, respectful care.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications include:

• An active New Hampshire LNA license or PCA qualification is preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience in a private home, assisted living community, healthcare facility, or similar setting.
