Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager. The role involves assisting a group of patients across simple to complex needs on the unit, with supervision from a Registered Nurse.

The candidate must hold a NH LNA license, a current BLS for Healthcare Providers, and proof of LNA education with competency testing. Experience of 6–12 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred; required proof of LNA education certificate and final competency testing results as required by NH Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs technical skills/procedures related to patients' physical, mental health and social needs under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided and reports patient observations and basic data to the RN.
• Demonstrates adherence to safe patient handling policy.
• Demonstrates time management skills.
• Maintains patient care areas for cleanliness, safety, and supplies.
• Receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
