Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, performing technical tasks related to patient health needs, and documenting observations in the chart.

Candidates must hold an LNA Education Certificate and NH LNA licensure, plus current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Qualifications

• Must have an LNA Education Certificate and NH LNA license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a patient care team.
• Experience providing direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily living activities and personal care under RN guidance.
• Performs technical skills related to physical and mental health needs under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided and reports patient observations to the RN.
• Adheres to safe patient handling and time management policies.
• Maintains clean, safe patient care areas and supplies.
• Performs delegated duties following the five rights of delegation.
• Performs job-specific duties and may serve as a preceptor for new staff.
