Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks Licensed Nursing Assistants to join the float pool across Medical Surgical, ICU, PCU, ED and 3West. Shifts: Days 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend; EKG skills and precepting expected within 6 months.

Qualifications

• NH state certification as Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA).
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental policies and infection control standards.
• Performs basic nursing tasks, e.g., incentive spirometry, glucose testing, dressing changes, oral suctioning.
• Provides personal patient care and monitors conditions.
• Documents care accurately in patient records.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and supports patient rights.
• Engages in professional development through education and workshops.
• Assesses equipment function for patient safety.
• Contributes to care plan development and implementation.
