Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–6 months experience

Responsibilities

• Follows established department policies and safety/environmental care programs.
• Performs basic nursing procedures including incentive spirometry, bedside glucose testing, non-sterile dressings, oral suctioning.
• Provides personal care to patients and monitors their condition.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Maintains safe and therapeutic environment and supports patient rights.
• Participates in professional development and orientation of LNAs.
• Performs EKGs and telemetry skills as needed.
