Job summary

ISTE+ASCD is seeking a Manager, Learning Management Systems in Arlington, VA to lead LMS and Salesforce workflows, configure course shells, and coordinate learner provisioning. The role partners with instructional designers and the Technology & Digital Strategy team to ensure courses launch smoothly and data integrity is maintained.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in edtech or LMS-adjacent roles, experience with D2L Brightspace and Salesforce, strong organizational and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) required or strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with digital credentialing concepts (Open Badges, Badgr, Credly) is a plus.
• Transferable LMS experience as online instructor, LMS administrator, or course designer welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain course shells in the LMS based on instructional design specs.
• Manage the operational course lifecycle: staging, launch, updates, archival for ISTE+ASCD offerings.
• Apply HTML/CSS edits within the LMS to ensure consistent branding and learner experience.
• Serve as a first-line escalation point for learners and internal users in the LMS.
• Coordinate flow of orders, enrollments, and learner data between Salesforce and the LMS.
• Provide reporting on enrollments, completions, and engagement to inform decisions.
