Job summary

The Dixon Group, based in Chestertown, MD, seeks an LMS Administrator to partner with educators, IT, and content developers to enable engaging online learning experiences. You will manage accounts, configure settings, and generate actionable reports to drive decisions.

Frontend responsibilities include course material management, troubleshooting, and working with designers to roll out new features, while staying current with LMS technologies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an LMS platform (Moodle/Blackboard/Canvas) and configuring system settings.
• Strong understanding of e-learning principles and instructional design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in user management, content administration, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the LMS platform for performance and availability.
• Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Upload and organize course materials, resources, and assessments.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users and monitoring.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and trainers to implement new courses and features.
• Generate reports on user engagement and course completion to support decisions.
• Provide training and support to staff and learners on LMS usage.
• Stay updated with LMS tech and recommend enhancements.
