Job summary

The Dixon Group in Chestertown, MD is seeking an LMS Administrator to manage and optimize our Learning Management System. You will collaborate with educators, IT staff, and content developers to deliver engaging e-learning experiences.

Responsibilities include user management, issue troubleshooting, course/material administration, and generating analytics to drive decisions. A strong understanding of LMS platforms and data analytics, plus excellent communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience administering an LMS (Moodle/Blackboard/Canvas).
• Familiar with e-learning standards (SCORM/xAPI).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the LMS platform for performance and availability.
• Create and manage user accounts, roles, permissions.
• Upload and organize course materials, resources, assessments.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users.
• Work with instructional designers to implement courses and features.
• Generate reports on engagement, completion, and usage.
• Provide training and support to staff and learners.
• Stay updated with LMS technologies and propose upgrades.
