Job summary

KaiHonua LLC is seeking a Land Mobile Radio Specialist Intermediate to support the Motorola ASTRO 25 system in Detroit, MI, ensuring reliable fleet mapping, subscriber management, and secure communications across the network.

You will program and maintain the network controller, manage encryption keys, perform OTAR/OTAP functions, run weekly reports, and schedule subscriber installations and technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Motorola ASTRO 25 SmartZone trunked system.
• Program and run emergency talk group reassignment and mutual aid talk groups when required.
• Process parts orders and run stock/subscriber reports.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III support.
• Update software and apply patches to address issues and vulnerabilities.
• Schedule subscriber technical issues and vehicle installations.
