Job summary

Blue Rose Research is seeking a product-focused data scientist to help build LLM-powered research and analysis tools that deliver greater breadth, depth, and speed than ever before. You will co-evolve the product experience with the models that power it and help revolutionize how political strategy is developed and communicated to campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or applied statistician.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience shipping features or products, not just analyses.
• Familiar with evaluating or building on top of LLMs and embeddings.
• Strong product instincts and ability to translate needs into a product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with political strategists to understand workflow needs and how AI can augment their work.
• Translate insights into product decisions and workflows involving humans and agents.
• Define rigorous evaluation criteria for AI components and ensure reliability and usefulness.
• Prototype rapidly to test ideas before product commitments.
• Communicate findings and tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences, including client-facing settings.
