Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Yard Operations lead to manage all yards receiving processes, ensuring safe, humane handling and accurate counts and identifications. You will work with FSIS inspectors, producers, haulers, and plant operations to meet objectives.

The role requires livestock experience, BS in Animal Science or Agriculture, and strong communication plus basic computer skills including Live Scale. Travel is none, with 1st shift responsibilities and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Livestock experience required.
• Swine or cattle experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication with team members and haulers.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets and email.
• Familiarity with Live Scale is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all yards receiving processes for safe, humane handling of livestock and accurate counts/identification.
• Collaborate with FSIS inspectors, producers, haulers, and plant operations to meet objectives.
• Support General Manager Yards and Senior Yard Supervisor with time and attendance management.
