Job summary

Cencora is seeking a System/Business Analyst for its MICRO Technology suite supporting veterinary and livestock production. The role involves configuring systems, developing specifications, and training clients across the United States. Travel up to 50% is required.

An associate degree or equivalent, plus 2–3 years in feed yard operations, is preferred. Applicants should understand cattle and agricultural processes, have a valid driver's license, and be prepared for frequent US travel.

Qualifications

• Position requires an Associate's degree or 2 years of college experience, preferably in Animal Science, Feedlot Management, Nutrition, or related major.
• Two to three years of experience working in a feed yard, primarily in the feed management division.

Responsibilities

• Use system analysis processes to understand customer procedures and goals to configure the MICRO Technology system.
• Develop programs, specifications and procedures to achieve goals efficiently.
• Communicate requirements between the system, animal health and client/veterinarian outcomes.
• Coordinate schedules and complete work orders for system installation hardware handoffs to Field Hardware IT.
• Responsible for system configuration, data loading, QA and testing of historical data and training for clients.
• Train clients on product inventory management and FDA compliance guidelines.
• Define, develop and communicate operating procedures for the MICRO Technology system.
• Design customer-specific system solutions and create BRDs for BA/Development teams.
• Evaluate and test prototypes and final software features to meet client requirements; update software and train clients.
• Define and implement remote access connectivity.
• Present ongoing evaluations to Micro teams for enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and advise on process changes to meet goals.
• Detect potential software/process problems and work with dev teams to implement changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
