Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a Nutrition Formulation Specialist to develop and balance rations for monogastric species. You will collaborate with procurement, QC and nutrition teams to ensure accurate formulations, regulatory compliance, and timely customer support.

You will contribute to ongoing product improvements, stay current with nutrition trends, and support manufacturing and distribution activities. This role requires a degree in animal nutrition and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition.
• 1–2 years’ experience in ration formulation and ingredient evaluation; hands on with formulation software.
• Hands on work experience in animal production.
• Experience or familiarity with manufacturing and distribution is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication, effective interpersonal skills that foster open communication."
• Be a self-starter; ability to drive things to closure, work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Formulations and Ration Balancing (50%): Update formulations and feeding guidelines; ensure producibility at mills; generate ingredient forecasts; update labels to comply with regulations; respond to internal/external requests promptly.
• Technical and Sales Support (40%): Update ingredient matrix; collaborate on projects with Nutrition Services and R&I; support QC discussions.
• Miscellaneous Support Services (10%): Provide technical support to customers; participate in planning and seminars; support production during evenings/weekends.
