Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to assist in feeding, medicating, and caring for beef cattle. You will monitor water and feed supplies, move animals between pastures and facilities, and help with basic breeding and births under supervision.

Housing and meals are employer-provided; experience in livestock handling is preferred, along with a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire. English proficiency required and safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in livestock handling preferred.
• Ability to speak English and follow safety guidelines.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Herd livestock to pastures and to facilities.
• Inspect animals for illness or injury and check physical condition.
• Assist with breeding or births as needed.
• Maintain pens, equipment, and housing; clean stalls and yards.
• Move livestock and equipment between locations on the farm.
• Assist with feed mixing and medication administration as instructed.
