Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farmhand to feed and water livestock, monitor feed supplies, and move animals between pastures and enclosures. You will inspect livestock for health and weight, perform basic care, and assist with breeding and births.

Housing and meals are employer-provided, with occasional town transport. Requires at least 3 months of experience, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Move livestock between pastures, enclosures, or transport to scales or trucks.
• Inspect animals for illness, injury, or weight gain and provide basic care.
• Maintain equipment, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; perform basic repairs.
• Mix feeds and administer medicines in prescribed portions; assist with breeding and births.
