Job summary

Mattel Game Studios seeks a Product Manager, LiveOps for our casual portfolio. Lead LiveOps strategy, event design, economy balance, and monetization across IP-driven titles, starting with a Barbie game and expanding to more casual IP titles.

You will collaborate with Product, Game Design, Production, and external studios, using data to drive experiments and optimize engagement. This in-office role Monday-Thursday with Fridays remote.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in free-to-play mobile games in a Product Management or LiveOps role.
• Direct experience working on a casual mobile game with strong meta-layer or collection/customization systems is preferred.
• Deep understanding of F2P LiveOps mechanics, meta-progression systems, and game economy fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the game's feature roadmap with Product, Game Design, Production and external studio; drive feature prioritization.
• Develop the LiveOps event framework and cadence strategy from scratch; define event types, rewards, and seasonal beats.
• Own the meta-progression and offer strategy; specify economic intents and success criteria; ensure IP resonance across sessions.
• Own LiveOps and economy outcomes; set targets for engagement, retention, revenue per user; partner with Data to run experiments.
