Job summary

KERA is seeking a full‑time Associate Producer for NTX Now in Dallas. You’ll lead video, digital, and social strategy for the daily news magazine, collaborating with editors and producers to turn interviews and features into compelling online content across platforms.

You'll manage the live stream, produce social/digital content, and pitch segments while upholding KERA's editorial standards and commitment to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in journalism, content creation, or related experience.
• Ability to quickly produce and edit video for social media during and after live broadcasts.
• Knowledge of social media best practices and trends.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills including AP style.

Responsibilities

• Guide the show's video stream and coordinate live social reels during broadcasts.
• Collaborate with editors and producers to integrate KERA News reporting into NTX Now.
• Manage NTX Now's digital presence and translate on-air content into web posts.
• Create multiple daily social posts from the day's show content.
• Pitch and produce guest segments to reinforce NTX Now's editorial presence.
