Job summary

Playtech in Southfield, MI, is seeking an IT Tech Support Technician to maintain, install, and troubleshoot live studio equipment. You will assist with on-site computer systems and network setup and maintenance.

The role requires adherence to Gaming Commission and Delaware regulations, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidates should have an associate degree (preferred) or technical training and be able to obtain a Michigan Gaming License.

Qualifications

Associate degree (Preferred) or equivalent technical training.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferably, 1 year of previous IT and/or technical computer experience.
Basic computer skills- MS Tools, electronic mail, etc.
Knowledge – Windows and Windows office related software installation and troubleshooting.
Networking skills – good cooperation skills, ability to deal with potential conflicts in diverse situations.
Communications skills – ability to clearly and unambiguously explain issues related to work, company's rules and procedures.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor; including manner of speech, appearance, and posture in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and attention to detail.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Be able to wear assigned uniforms and maintain professional appearance standards.
Must be able to obtain a Michigan Gaming License.

Responsibilities

Adhere to multi-state Gaming Commission Regulations, PT Services Delaware regulations and live unit policies.
Provide technical support for video streaming equipment, data, optical and network communication systems.
Install and maintain video streaming equipment such as cameras, audio, video cards, cabling.
Install, administer, and troubleshoot computers, laptops and hardware as requested by management.
Monitor information systems, diagnose problems, and report execution times.
Respond to user calls, diagnose and resolve software problems.
Monitor CDN server connections and address issues.
Provide day-to-day technical support and consultations for users.
Make and save reports of related documentation.
Learn new applications, software, and networking stocktaking.
Prepare technical reports for management.
Understand and use IT terminology and comply with regulatory standards.
Execute duties per standard IT service procedures.
Perform additional duties as instructed by management.
