Job summary

FOX Sports is seeking a StudentU Coordinator in Chicago, IL to ensure the production of 2,000+ live events yearly for the B1G+ streaming platform. You will supervise the student-led broadcasts, train Quality Control operators, and coordinate scheduling to ensure air-ready games.

Remote problem-solving and cross-department collaboration are essential. Requirements include 1+ year of live sports production oversight and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of prior experience overseeing live sports productions
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of typical broadcast equipment (switcher, replay, graphics, cameras) and ability to troubleshoot remotely
• Capability to manage multiple projects and provide solid decision-making in high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function of the B1G+ Operations Center with freelance staff
• Develop and conduct regular training for quality control operators
• Assist in scheduling QC operator shifts for all StudentU productions
• Create training manuals to help students meet standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues remotely during live broadcasts
• Collaborate with programming, streaming, social media for coverage highlights
• Travel to campuses to train and support staff
