Job summary

FOX Sports is seeking a Manager, Field Operations to lead end-to-end logistics for live events, ensuring on-site delivery and efficient crew workflows. This hands-on role supervises field staff and serves as the day-to-day point of contact between internal departments, vendors, and on-site stakeholders.

You will manage event-level logistics, collaborate with the Sport Delivery Lead, and optimize staffing models, budgets, and workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in live sports, broadcast, or event operations.
• Experience supervising field staff and managing multi-site logistics.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, venues, and partners for live events.
• Familiarity with event budgets, invoicing, and cost tracking.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite; able to use Smartsheet, Playbook, Slack.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end logistics and on-site execution for assigned events.
• Coordinate facility logistics, crew scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Build event crew grids and support crewing needs by event.
• Serve as on-site contact for field managers, crews, and production teams.
• Provide input on staffing models and process improvements to leadership.
• Process vendor invoices and monitor costs; compare vendor quotes.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and venue staff to ensure smooth events.
• Maintain SOPs and documentation; drive workflow improvements.
• Support rollout of new processes and technology with field teams.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, Engineering, Finance, and Business Affairs to resolve issues.
• Identify recurring problems and propose practical fixes; contribute post-event reporting.
• Supervise coordinators and crews, promoting accountability and service.
• Travel 30–60% to support events and on-site oversight.
