Job summary
FOX Sports is seeking a hands-on Remote Engineering & Operations lead to drive technical initiatives across IP video, RF/wireless camera systems, and remote production workflows. You will work on-site, write specifications, manage vendors, and ensure milestones and dates are met for air-ready deployments across major sports properties.
The role requires 5+ years in broadcast engineering, strong written communication, and the ability to operate in a union environment with travel and event
Qualifications
- 5+ years in broadcast or live production engineering.
- Hands-on capability across IP video, RF and wireless camera systems, transmission, and remote production workflows.
- Ability to work as a peer to senior technical colleagues and escalate when needed.
- Comfort working in a union environment and travel to events.
Responsibilities
- Drive active technical initiatives to milestones with on-site tests and evaluations.
- Coordinate vendor and partner communications to ensure lead times and dates.
- Produce equipment lists, specifications, and build calendars for procurement and scheduling.
- Own status reporting and surface stalled initiatives with clear decisions and deadlines.
- Serve as Field Operations contact with security dashboards and remediation tracking.
